Students of our college, Selvan V, Vignesh I, Vignesh P, Sakthivel R, Thamizhselvan K, Shwaran M, and Yogarajan P, participated in the “SPLAS2018 Project Expo” with the project “Fabrication of Three Way Axis Pneumatic Trailer Mechanism” and won the first prize with a cash award of Rs.5000/- at Suriya Group of Institutions, Vikravandi.

Five final year mechanical engineering students from our college won the first prize in the state-level project competition “CREATE 2017” held at Murugappa Polytechnic College, Avadi, Chennai on February 18, 2017. The students are Selvan R Prakash, D Manikandan, R Ramkumar, M Krishna, and M Mohammed Salaudeen. They competed against 276 other projects.

Five final year computer engineering students from our college won the first prize in the national-level project competition “PRO-SKCET’17” held at Shri Krishnaa College of Engineering & Technology, Puducherry on February 20, 2017. The students are Selvi M Priyanka, P Gayathri, D Dheepa, R Chandolu Manimala, and J Reena Kumari.
