To make students employable, they need to be trained in soft skills and social skills in addition to their academic skills.

A soft skills program was conducted for all third-year students at MIT Auditorium on June 15-16, 2016 by Mr. S. Pugazhendi, a life skill coach with over 20 years of experience.

A motivation program was conducted for students at the Polytechnic college premises on September 23, 2016 at the Seminar Hall. The resource person was Thiru Viswanthan from Chennai.

Career Guidance Program

In the academic year 2014-2015, all girl students studied and practiced yoga for one year under the “Yoga for Human Excellence” course by VETHATHIRI MAHARISHI INSTITUTION.

A soft skill training program was arranged for all final year students from 19-24 January 2015 by Mr. Kantesh Kumar Sing and G.Vanaraja.

A 40-student entrepreneurship development program was conducted for final year students from all branches from 4-8 May 2015 in the college campus. The program was coordinated by Mr.A.Prakash

G. K. Mariaapan, Head of Department of Sports and Co-Curriculum from SeberangPerai Polytechnic, Penang, Malaysia visited our college with his colleagues and students. They visited our campus to learn about our curriculum upgradation process. He is a member of the curriculum updating committee in Malaysia.
